Flexfit EMEI is sponsoring Peter Hall on his venture to raise funds for Walking with the wounded a charity which supports injured soldiers
On September 28th Peter will take the challenge to mountain bike 250 miles in 5 days through Iceland.
The ride will start at Akureyri in the North of Iceland, head East to Godafoss Waterfall, then head south running past Vatnajökull National Park towards Friðland að Fjallabaki. Peter will then move East heading towards Reykjavik, but then drop down to and finish at the Blue Lagoon.
The average ride will be 50 miles a days, taking on a variety of different terrain, climbs and downhills. During his ride Peter will be photographing the stunning landscapes that Iceland has to offer.
Peter Hall commented: “I’m not doing this just for my own cause, I am raising money for Walking with the Wounded, who I ran the London Marathon for in 2013. Post the challenge and to continue to raise money for the charity I will be hosting an event at a London gallery, where my best photographs will be put up for auction and sale.
“I want to thank my partners and sponsors…quite simply I could not do this with out their support.
“Its going to be a challenge training and of course the event itself in Iceland is not going to be easy. I’m going to raise some money…but I know I’m going to feel that buzz again”
